About us

How it all started

We grew up in Europe where foreign languages are taught from a very early age. After we moved to Australia with our young children we realised that there is an opportunity to offer experiences so readily available to children in other countries.

“I still remember how I played with my most favourite doll telling my teacher in English what the doll did today. Many of us remember learning a language as a chore but my memories are all about fun and adventure! I really want to share this joy with kids of today, with my own kids”.

“We want our children grow up being bilingual but it is hard work for the kids and for the parents to keep using more then one language. It can be so frustrating, but then someone comes to visit, kids get to speak in their second language more, they get to solve everyday problems and discover new things in their second language and suddenly - that languages improves tremendously! So we decided that we want to offer this rich, fun language environment to our chidden and to everyone else who wants to enjoy learning languages!”

Linguakid’s approach is deeply rooted in our personal experiences as early language learners.

We provide children with an opportunity to use their foreign language in an out-of school environment. Children attend drawing, craft and Lego classes with a slight twist - all these classes are taught in a foreign language by a native speaker.

All of the class activities are specially prepared to expand vocabulary, practice pronunciation, and encourage creativity in a fun and positive environment.

We decided to focus on what’s known as early immersion - an immersion that starts at 4 years and continues throughout the primary school life.
